This hand stamped, personalized pewter initial and birthstone necklace started out as a 5/8 inch (15mm) vintage reproduction button which I have removed the shank from, and drilled a hole for the findings and Swarovski crystal birthstone setting. These buttons were made as reproductions of early American Colonial military uniform buttons. There is remaining evidence of the button shank on the back, however it has been filed and sanded smooth and will not effect the wear of this piece.

Due to the nature of pewter, all have some subtle surface variations making them all beautifully unique.
